Contract Law

Under New Jersey, there are four requirements to form a contract:

1) Offer and Acceptance
2) Consideration
3) Meeting of the minds
4) Certainty

If the 4 elements do not exist, there is not a contract!

A contract does not have to be written to be considered a valid contract. Oral contracts can be enforceable as long as there is evidence supporting the oral contract. Please contact our law firm at 201-968-5800 Ext: 212 if you have any questions.
